MyGovCentral.com is your smarter resource for developing better public services.

It is an ever-evolving intelligence hub of case study led videos, articles, interviews and more, which are all CPD certified.

You use MGC.com to discover how your peers across the country are implementing policies and driving change so you can learn from their experiences, apply best practice and further your own career.

And you save time and energy by personalising your MGC.com to only show the relevant content you need across sectors and sub-sectors including Education, Health & Social Care, Police & Criminal Justice,

Employment/HR, Local Government & Communities, Housing, Voluntary and Digital Communications. And this is just the start.

CPD points are earned for everything you see, read and hear. This is then tracked on your own CPD dashboard.

And as a subscriber, you can connect with fellow members and ask questions and start conversations via knowledge sharing forums and member only events.

 


Who can join?

MyGovCentral.com is for anyone with an interest in developing better public services.

It has been developed primarily for those working in the public and voluntary sectors but students and universities alongside private sector professionals and organisations are all welcome to subscribe.

 


Is it Free?

Free trials are available for new customers only. Typically, you will be able to access 2x pieces of content before you need to subscribe but special offers are available throughout the year. You can find more details on the ‘Subscribe Today’ section here

Otherwise, MyGovCentral.com is a paid for subscription resource with options to subscribe for 6-months, annually, multi-year and team packages are available too.

Why are you charging a fee?

MGC requires a large team of content creators and producers (alongside developers, marketing and admin) to ensure subscribers have access to premium quality and unique content across more than 40 sectors and sub-sectors.

The subscription fee also covers the day-to-day hosting and maintenance of the site, ongoing development costs and allows for future growth plans.

Even without the ongoing promotional offers, access to MGC’s ever-evolving content hub costs less than £5* per week, which we hope represents great value for money.

What does a membership package include?

Slight variations exist across the various packages but generally:

Is the content exclusive to MyGovCentral.com?

Most of the videos, articles, interviews, podcasts and reports are exclusive to MyGovCentral.com or one of our sister brands, namely Government Events or GovPD.

The exclusivity of content provided by carefully selected third party contributors will vary but in most instances this will be unique to MGC.com

A personalised ‘news’ feature will be added soon but this content will largely be available publicly.

 


Can I try MyGovCentral.com before I subscribe?

Yes, a one-time only free trial is available for new customers only.

How do I pay?

To gain immediate access to MyGovCentral.com, you will need to pay by credit card, which includes Visa Debit, Visa Credit and Mastercard.

Payment by invoice is also available but access is only granted on receipt of full payment.

 


Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, you may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing cancellation@MyGovCentral.com However, please note refunds are not available.

 


How much does it cost to subscribe?

Prices vary according to type, volume and duration. Special offers will also be available throughout the year – see here for all the options.

Do you accept payment by invoice?

Yes, we do accept payment by invoice. However, please note access to your MyGovCentral.com will only be activated once full payment has been received and we will notify you about this.

 


Will my subscription automatically renew?

Yes, your subscriptions will automatically renew but we will notify you at least 1-month in advance of your expiry date.

You may also cancel your subscription at any time by emailing cancellation@MyGovCentral.com However, please note refunds are not available.

 


Will I be notified when my subscription comes to an end?

Yes, we will notify you at least 1-month in advance of your subscription expiry date.

 


Who can I contact if I have trouble using MyGovCentral.com?

If you have any issues using MyGovCentral.com, please email mysubscription@mygovcentral.com and we will come back to you as quickly as we can but within 24-hrs at the latest.

If I pay by credit card, will I receive immediate access?

Yes, once you card payment has been confirmed, you will receive immediate access.

 


If I pay by invoice, will I receive immediate access?

Once your invoice has been paid and the payment received, you will receive full access.

 


Does my CPD dashboard automatically track all my activities on MGC?

Yes, it does. Everything you read, see or hear on MyGovCentral.com has been allocated a number of points and these will automatically be added to your dashboard once you have accessed them (for a set period of time). You can also input your targets for the year and add in any points you have gained elsewhere. At the end of the year, you will receive a CPD certificate with the number of points earned on MGC.

 


When will I receive my CPD certificate?

The CPD qualification period runs from 01 Jan – 31 Dec. CPD certificates will be available on your MyGovCentral.com user profile from 01 Jan.

 


Can I include my CPD target points for the year on my CPD dashboard?

Yes, you can input your targets for the year and add in any points you have gained elsewhere. However, please note these won’t be included on your MyGovCentral.com CPD certificate.

 


Can I add in to my CPD dashboard the CPD points I’ve gained on other platforms?

Are discounts available for students?

We’ve already heavily discounted the price for students (just £79). and universities and no further reductions will be available.

 


Are discounts available for private sector subscribers?

Yes, discounts are available for private sector subscribers. Please see ‘Subscribe Today’ for details.

 


Are there discounts for team bookings?

Yes, discounts are available for team/group bookings and available at upto 5 users, upto 10 users and upto 20 users. Please see ‘Subscribe Today’ for details. If you need a subscription plan for a larger group, please contact enquiry@mygovcentral.com and we will come back to you with 24-hrs.

 


Are there discounts for multi-year bookings?

Very soon you will be able to submit content for posting using MGC Knowledge Share.

Is it free to post content on MyGovCentral.com?

If you are from the public sector, voluntary sector or academia, then it is free to upload content but this is subject to approval by the Content Manager.

If you are from the private sector, then content uploads are allowed but are subject to a fee and subject to approval.

Will my contact details be shared with any third-party organisations?

No, your details will not be shared with any third-party organisations unless you chose to do so.
